On Saturday 10th February, we hosted a Burns Nicht in the club lounge. Fred Hutcheon was master of ceremonies and started the evening in style by addressing the haggis which had been piped in by George Mitchelson.
Ian Hutcheon, Phoebe Newlove and Donald Fraser performed Burns/Scots poems whilst music was provided by the excellent Slipway.
See below for some photos of what was an excellent evening.
Mats will no longer be in play from Thursday 1st March. Preferred lies will apply on the fairways and areas of new turf.
The Golf Club are holding a Burns Nicht on Saturday 10th February at 7.30 pm.
Included is Haggis, Neeps and Tatties followed by Cheese and Biscuits, Tea / Coffee.
The musical entertainment will be provided by Slipway – a trio from Arbroath supported by various bits and pieces of Burns and humour from club members. We will also have a piper and there will be plenty of opportunities to sing along to well known Scottish songs . It should be a great evening. Kilts / tartan are welcome.
The price of the ticket is £10 and guests are welcome. Book early to avoid disappointment.
