The Gents team travelled to Leven Links on Saturday to take on Leven Thistle GC in the second leg of our annual match for the Belhaven Shield.
A few showers aside, the weather was generally kind with a light breeze and a few sunny spells. The same cannot be said for the results as Leven’s strength in depth showed as we fell to a resounding defeat by 10 matches to 1 (including committee match). Well done to Richie Long and Scott McDonald for ensuring we avoided a whitewash!
Thanks to all those who supported and represented MGC on Saturday and in previous matches this season.
Donna, Ray and staff would like to thank all those who made our McMillan coffee morning a delightful and successful day.
