The Club are running a stroke play putting competition on Friday 30th June @ 7pm which is open to all members and guests. 18 holes stoke play over the medal putting green. £1.00 per person to enter with prizes awarded on the night. In the event of a tie there will be a sudden death play-off to decide the winners. Come along on the night to show off your putting skills.
Following the putting we will be running a far and sure driving competition (from 7.30pm) which is also open to all members and guests. Teeing off from the first tee of the Medal Course players will have three attempts to hit their drive as far as possible but only those finishing on the fairway will count. Bounces in off the railway will not count. £1.00 entry with prizes on the night. So come on down and show off just how far you can drive the ball.
Oh by the way, only wooden headed drivers allowed. Yes, the pro shop will be supplying a range of wooden headed drivers for use in this competition. Can you still hit it out of the screws?
Coming up on Saturday is the Gordon Low Medal. This is awarded to the best scratch score on the Medal Course.
